Congratulations to Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning competitor Adam Morgan, who has achieved an outstanding result on the international stage, finishing 6th out of 27 competitors and earning a prestigious Medallion of Excellence at the WorldSkills International Competition.
Representing Australia, Adam, from Clements Air Conditioning Refrigeration & Electrical in Rutherford, NSW, competed across four demanding days against some of the world’s most talented young refrigeration and air conditioning professionals.
The competition concluded with the WorldSkills International Closing Ceremony, where the United Kingdom claimed Gold in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, followed by Korea with Silver and Canada with Bronze.
Adam’s sixth-place finish is an exceptional achievement and reflects the hundreds of hours of training, preparation and commitment that went into representing Australia at the highest level of international skills competition.
Kirby is proud to be a supporter of WorldSkills Australia, joining Refrigerant Reclaim Australia and the Australian Refrigeration Council in supporting the development and recognition of Australia’s next generation of skilled tradespeople.
Special congratulations also go to Josh Seymour, Australian Expert/Judge and Adam’s Training Manager, competing at his first international WorldSkills competition. Josh earned the respect of his fellow international experts through his technical knowledge, skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
