R22 is a single-component HCFC refrigerant (Chlorodifluoromethane) used in a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration applications. It is non-toxic and non-flammable (A1 classification).
HCFC refrigerant imports are being phased out under the Montreal Protocol and as a result many HFC retrofit alternatives are available such as R407C, R407F, R438A and R422D. Please contact your account manager or customer service representative for further information.
