Kirby supplies Henry suction accumulators for refrigeration and air conditioning systems where liquid refrigerant may return through the suction line. The current range includes Henry accumulators with 5/8, 3/4, 1-1/8 and 1-3/8 inch connections, with liquid holding capacities ranging from 1.6 to 7.1 litres across the listed products.
Henry suction accumulators are installed in the suction line immediately before the compressor. The accumulator is designed to allow refrigerant vapour to return to the compressor while holding liquid returning from the evaporator. Henry Technologies also describes a metering arrangement that returns liquid and oil into the vapour stream.
Current Kirby products include Henry accumulator models 3100-104016, 3100-124016, 3100-125024P, 3100-125029, 3100-185040, 3100-186063 and 3100-186055P. Check the connection size, holding capacity and product code against the system requirements before selecting a suction accumulator.
